Gemma Parker

After leaving Braunton School in 2002 achieving 11 ‘B’ and ‘C’ GCSE grades, Gemma continued in further education and achieved A levels in English, Maths and Law.  She also achieved an AS level in Biology.  During this time Gemma successfully completed the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Jessica Brodey

Jessica who was home tutored gained good grades in Maths and English GCSEs.  She was keen to find Apprenticeship work based training and Ultra arranged for her to attend for an interview at the NFU Mutual.

Laura Marie Worthington

Laura left Holsworthy Community college with excellent GCSE grades and went on to achieve ‘AS’ levels at College.  Laura decided that the academic route was not what she really wanted and also travelling to and from college, a three hour journey a day, also impacted on her decision to look for work based learning.

Jade left Cape Cornwall School with average GCSE grades and started a Travel and Tourism course at college.  After leaving college she worked as a Receptionist but was unhappy with the work.

Kristle Weeks

Kristle WeeksKrystle left Roseland School in 2001, a little disappointed with some of her GCSE results, a ‘C’ in English and ‘D’ to ‘E’ grades in her other subjects, and went on to further education to study medical reception and medical secretarial, a two year course.

Linda Tucker

Linda TuckerLinda left Fowey School in 1975 and went on to train as a hairdresser in a salon in Par, Cornwall.  As a trainee Linda attended college one day a week and spent the other four days in the salon. After three years she achieved a City and Guilds Certificate in Hairdressing.
