Ultra’s Employer Forum Hailed a Great Success
22 April 2010
Providing a high quality service to employers has always been a priority for Ultra and key to this priority is understanding just what employers need whilst, in turn, informing them of the latest developments in the world of training.
In order to satisfy these requirements, whilst promoting the exchange of good practice between employers, Ultra has established a number of employer forums and the first of these was recently held at the company’s Cornish office in Bodmin. The gathering brought together health and social care sector employers from across Devon and Cornwall with issues ranging from changes in funding, new legislation and the Independent Safeguarding Authority being discussed. Jane Duke, Ultra’s head of health and social care provision, hailed the forum a great success, saying ‘Everyone gained a tremendous amount from the day and we’ve already set the date for the next meeting which will include employers from the childcare and early years sector’.
